First patient in the Netherlands receives promising migraine implant in clinical study
For the first time in the Netherlands, a patient has been implanted with an ultra-thin implant for chronic migraine as part of a clinical study. The procedure was conducted at Erasmus MC in Rotterdam.

Salvia awarded €5.1M funding from European Innovation Council

Belgian patients first in Europe to receive pioneering implant for migraine
AZ Delta in Roeselare has successfully treated its first patients for severe migraine with a paper-thin implant. This is the second time worldwide and the first time in Europe that the bioelectronic foil, developed by Dutch start-up Salvia BioElectronics, has been implanted.
