Faces of Salvia

Meet Marta Dobrowolska, Operator

“My job is magic. I create magic that I hope could give people a second life."

So, how did Marta Dobrowolska from Poznan, Poland, end up working at a MedTech company in Eindhoven? “Daniel found me,” says Marta. The story of how she got to Salvia is pretty typical… except for one detail.

COO Daniel Schobben called Marta on the recommendation of another Salvia team member. “He called me and asked if I want to join Salvia. But do you know the funny story? I told him no!”

The opening date for the job wasn’t clear, so she told Daniel to “stay in touch.” No, seriously.

He did stay in touch, and now this ebullient native of Poland is part of Salvia’s famous all-female cleanroom crew. “I'm in the heart of the company in the clean room,” making Salvia implants, designed for people with migraine, Marta says. “So I do everything: all processes, testing, cleaning, etc. … all from the beginning to the end.”

Marta has lived in the Netherlands for 10 years, working as a logistics manager and volunteering, helping people with disabilities. “So, I saw a lot of pain and at the time, it had a really huge impact on me that someday I wanted to help people, to make them happy,” she says. Ten months later, her life has totally changed. “Life is like a roller coaster. I love change.”

In her off-time, Marta loves cooking and traveling with her boyfriend. And don’t get her started about Italy. “All my heart is in Italy, really. I love evertything Italian. I love their culture, tradition, architecture and, of course, food. So yeah, I think that in my earlier life, I was living in Italy.”

She loves Rome and especially Fiumicino, where there are a lot of fishermen, so it is one of best places in Italy to eat fresh fish and seafood. And then there’s the cheese and much more. Which she takes back with her to Eindhoven: “I’m always begging, ‘My God, don’t let them open my luggage!’ ”

With her energy and enthusiasm, you get the idea that Marta is living her best life at Salvia, and she says as much. With her embrace of change and a love of learning, “I see infinite potential for myself.”

Page Title (H1)

Header (H2)

A subheading or chapter heading (H3)

Introductory text or a first paragraph of information on this subject. Write as naturally as possible and be nice and specific. If necessary, use AI software to help you get started, but definitely don't use it one-on-one. Search engines can penalize AI content.

Subheading (H4)

Here too there is more than enough room for a good story, an interesting article or background information. If necessary, use a summary:

  • a summary is clear
  • one can see the benefits or features at a glance
  • also use search terms if necessary

Another topic (H3)

Another subheading (H4)

Do not use a Title Header (H1), but use an H2 Header instead. An H1 is actually a title of the page and may only appear once on a web page. The H2 is a kind of chapter and the other headers (H3 to H6) are subheadings and subheadings within the chapter. The order is important for the readability of visitors and search engines.

  1. a summary is clear
  2. one can see the benefits or features at a glance
  3. also use search terms if necessary

This way everything remains easy to read and understandable for the reader. People can also scroll directly to the topic they are interested in.

Paragraph heading style (H5)

This is another example of a heading. The headings H5 and H6 are usually used as paragraph headings, each with their own style.

Paragraph heading style (H6)

In the editor you can really see a difference in font size of all headers, but on the live website they have their own style.

Other options

Use a "quote". That looks like this:

This is a quote!

You can also put texts in bold, italic, etc.
Of maak een link naar een andere pagina of website.
And finally, you can also create Superscript(1) and Subscript(2) text.
